Two Men, One Forest, and the Things We Build From It.
High in the mountain country of Williams, Arizona, surrounded by 53 acres of Ponderosa pine and ancient Gambel oak, stands a 3,000-square-foot workshop. This is the heart of Under the Pines Designs-where two generations turn forest floor treasures and a lifetime of master craftsmanship into wearable art and luxury heirlooms.
Our story began with a simple idea: give a beautiful second life to the wood around us. Every piece of native oak is sustainably gathered from our property, honoring the landscape we call home.
But our vault holds deeper history. Over a lifetime career, my dad accumulated a collection of rare domestic and exotic hardwood-walnut, cherry, maple, mahogany-scraps too small for furniture but far too beautiful to lose. In his hands, they find their ultimate purpose.
We create because we believe in slow, deliberate craftsmanship in a fast-paced world. We create to celebrate the bond between a father's technical mastery and a son's modern vision.
When you hold a piece from Under the Pines Designs, you're holding decades of sawdust and perfected skill. You're holding a piece of the American Southwest-every ring, grain line, and engraved detail carrying the wind of our forest and the legacy of a master artisan.
From our mountain ridge to your home— Our home becomes part of yours.
